  1. Very interested and delighted to hear that.

I have facilitated meditation / relaxation classes since 1998. In a sense it's my "pro bona" work and I love it. This was facilitated further in 2007 when Bannatynes Health Club asked me to present there. Since then I’ve expanded my training and developed those classes into 4/5 modules consisting of different methods of relaxation or mind training. I have completed 3 and now the time feels right to market them to a wider audience. My goal has always been to make a DIFFERENCE on a bigger scale and with the present financial climate I sense that time is now.

This is how it looks at the moment:

    Mind Training Modules
A system enabling the state of mind for easy effectiveness, proper performance and a full, exciting and blissful life!

Mind Training Modules are personal development programmes that participants passionately commit to and utilise as a way forward to full potential. Motivational and educational, Mind Training Modules are based on a proven approaches which teach the life enhancing skills of relaxation, motivation, focus, resolve, resilience, awareness and insight. They are presented as a series of empowering workshops or classes delivered by Vicki Rebecca, founder of the business, who is a successful hypnotherapist and trainer.

Training the Mind for Focus and Resolve
    Yoga Nidra for deeper healing
Mastering the Mind to create the life you desire Self Hypnosis - change your mindset Training the Mind for Resilience Zen Meditation and Mindfulness for Resilience Training the Mind for Insight Zen Meditation and Mindfulness for Insight Training the Mind Specific Goals Weight Loss / Stress Management / Self Esteem ….

Perhaps something you'd be interested in discussing with me in general or regarding mindfulness and my teachers training for that in particular. I would be very interested in preseting to other therapists / writing an article for you - perhaps with the pro bono slant?

I wish I'd known March was going to be the month I'd have put it on the agenda - will it be the same enxt year and do you have some text that I could use. It seem to be the month with International Women's day and national no smoking day!

    Kind Regards

    Vicki

  2. Hi

My name is Neil Wood and I am currently setting up a pilot project within my team (Tier 2 CAMHS Medway) using Mindfulness. I have developed my own programme and am due to run it in the next few weeks with 4 young men with similar anxiety based issues. The work will involve working with a parent along with the child. It would be useful to set up contact with you I believe. I am due to attned the National Conference of 'Mindfulness In Schools' on the 27th March with Jon Kabat Zin

About this Blog

This is our first attempt to join the exciting world of blogging and bring to you all the fresh and hot news about the world of psychology and, of course, about your favourite training company. This is our new enterprise and we are finding our way in this mysterious world of blogging cautiously (but surely...) :-)
We are hoping to move our popular SDS Delegate Debate into this blogging format in the future and looking forward to lively discussions here with you. We are planning to start with publishing already existing SDS Delegate Debates — with comments received from you. Then we'll move to the current news as well as will run new delegate debates there.
Feel free to leave comments to any of the posts — whether they are old debates, the news or new debates. As you can guess — every blogger loves his readers and LIVES for the comments. :-) We are just the same. You don’t need to register in order to be able to comment. You can leave your feedback as “Anonymous”, however, may we ask you to sign you name (or nick) at the end of your comment (even if you are commenting without logging in) so that we know how to address you.
Another useful tool that SDS Blog provides us with is availability of Polls that enable us to find out your views about various subjects. Polls are located on the left panel of the page and updated regularly. Please feel free to vote. You can see the results of each poll by clicking the button "Results".
If you wish to register — nothing can be easier — you just open a Google account — most of you, surely, already use one.
Your comments are read by SDS Consultants regularly and — in many cases — replied to.
The blog is moderated — mainly to protect you and other readers from spam and irrelevant comments.
All posts are tagged — hopefully it'll help you to find your way around there.
Wish us luck and please join the list of our followers.
